Holder contempt vote will go foward this Thursday barring a last minute compromise between the Obama administration and House GOP Leaders. The ‘executive privilege’ claims made by President Obama do not seem to have prevented this looming vote.
As Twitchy reported yesterday, Representative Darrell Issa, Chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, made the Sunday show rounds. During the rounds, he predicted that the House would vote this week on holding Attorney General Holder in contempt of Congress. Last week, the House Oversight Committee found Holder in contempt .
